We are delighted to welcome you to the Blue Dome Hotel, a small, family-run retreat right by the sea in Platanias, Chania.

To help you settle in, below you have some useful information about our services and facilities:

Reception Hours

Daily from 10:00 to 18:00

Late Arrival

If your flight arrives after reception hours, don't worry!

A note with your room number and a map will be placed on the reception's glass door, and your key will be waiting outside your apartment door, so you can enter directly.

We kindly ask you to check in at Reception the following morning.

Sustainable Tourism Tax

A new environmental tax of 2 euros per night is required by law.

This amount must be paid in cash at Reception upon your arrival.

Restaurant & Bar

• Breakfast: 08:00 - 10:30

Breakfast is served à la carte, with fresh dishes prepared daily. As everything is made to order, service may take a little longer. We appreciate your patience.

To help avoid crowding, we kindly ask guests to register their preferred breakfast time on the sign-up sheet at the restaurant.

• Lunch: 12:30 - 15:30
• Dinner: Closed
• Bar: 10:30 - 21:30

While we do not serve dinner, we will gladly recommend nearby restaurants. You're also welcome to enjoy a cocktail at the bar before heading out.

Sunbeds & Pool Towels

• Pool sunbeds: Complimentary
• Beach sunbeds: Complimentary with a minimum consumption of 6 euros per person from the bar
• Towels: Dark-colored beach/pool towels are provided in your room. These may be exchanged twice per week at Reception.

Protecting the Sea Turtles

Our beach is home to the protected Caretta caretta sea turtles. To help preserve their nesting environment, we remove our sunbeds each evening and kindly ask guests to do the same.

Your cooperation helps protect this precious habitat for future generations.

Air Conditioning

Please close all windows and doors when using the air conditioning, and switch it off when leaving the room. Set the temperature between 22-24°C.

Do not remove the electricity card from the key holder - it must stay attached to your room key at all times. Leaving it in the door to keep the AC running while you're out is not allowed, as it poses a fire risk and wastes energy.

Cleaning Service

Housekeeping is available Monday to Saturday.

There is no cleaning on Sundays, except for arrivals or departures.

Daily Payments

We ask that you settle any bar or restaurant charges after each order, or by 19:30 at the latest each day, to help us close our daily accounts smoothly.

Any other payments should be made prior to your departure from the hotel.
