We would like to inform our guests that we are regretfully obliged to postpone our opening date, ad-hering to the Greek government announcement, in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Into this unreal new world, our minds and hearts go to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as to all the healthcare workers, local communities, and governments around the world who are giving daily fights for global health and economic crisis.
We are doing our best to stay positive and prepare for your future holidays. We know how important are for you the holidays with your family and loved ones. The Greek sun, the Cretan tradition, and the people at Blue Dome Hotel will be waiting for you!
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED WITH US
Regarding your reservation at Blue Dome Hotel, we would like to offer you as much flexibility and planning comfort as possible. Therefore, we have modified our booking and cancelation policies ac-cordingly.
If you have booked your stay directly through our website or by email and has an arrival date till the 30th of April, you may rebook your stay and get benefited with a complimentary upgrade (always upon availability) without any fees apart from the rate difference according to the period.
If you have booked your stay directly through our website or or by email and has an arrival date from the 1st of May till the end of October 2020, we provided you with further flexible options accord-ing to the rate booked:
- In case of a reservation with a non-refundable rate, you can rebook your stay for a future date within 2020 or 2021 without any fees apart from the rate difference according to the period. If the new price exceeds the original price you need to pay the difference at check-in. Rebooking result-ing in a lower price than the one already paid, will not be reimbursed.
- In case of a reservation with a flexible rate, you can cancel your reservation without any fees ap-plied even up to seven (7) days before arrival.

If you have booked your stay through your travel agent or an online travel agency, please contact your provider directly and they will be assist you with your request.
IF YOU WISH TO BOOK WITH US WITHIN THE SUMMER 2020
New reservations made between 1st of April and 30th of June 2020, for any future arrival date can be changed or canceled at no charge, up to 14 days before the arrival date. This includes reser-vations with the advanced purchase rates described as non-refundable.
For reservations after 30th of June 2020, our normal cancellation policy will apply.
Greece was among the first countries to have taken strict precautionary measures. This means that at the moment, has the fewest cases of the COVID-19 outbreak.
As Greece continues to treat the situation very seriously, it is expected that once the crisis is over, there will be a sharp increase in demand. We recommend you to take advantage of our Booking & Cancelation policy and be among those who will secure their summer holidays when the crisis is over.

YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY DURING YOUR FUTURE STAY WITH US
The well-being, health and safety of our guests, team members and partners is our top priority. In or-der to secure that, we will have set-up procedures, plans and routines in place, so that all of our guests can feel safe when staying at our hotel.
At Blue Dome Hotel, hygiene and cleanliness are always prioritized. We follow closely the guidelines of Greek health authorities, the World Health Organization and the Greek government. Our team members will be trained to handle situations that may occur at our hotel and we have confidence in their abilities.
Therefore, we will apply even more precautionary measures, reinforcing our already stringent prac-tices in food management, disinfection, and cleaning.
In addition to all the measures we are willing to take for your health and safety, it is important that you understand and comply with the basic personal hygiene rules:
- Frequent hand washing with soap and warm water
- Have hand disinfection ready
- Avoid unnecessary hand contact
- Avoid touching eyes, mouth and nose
- Cover the mouth with the elbow when coughing and sneezing
- Keep at least one meter away from coughing or sneezing persons
YOUR MEAL AT THE HOTEL
As you already know, our hotel offers a la carte menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner). We will continue to offer you those meals in the same way, but you will also have the possibility to select if you want the meal to be delivered to your apartment.
A new Breakfast Experience is methodically designed to be launched this year providing high end services and unique experience to our guests.
Of course, we have strict hand hygiene policies for our team members and food preparation, as our restaurant has obtained the HACCP accreditation.
We will update you on the new opening date the soonest possible.
